A group of acid salts businesses that produces and distributes organic salts used in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and agricultural industries. Headquartered in Tiel, the Netherlands, Verdugt operates principally in Western Europe, where many of its products are market-leaders. CHPIII led a group of investors in purchasing Verdugt in February 1999. Company employees, including the existing management team, were retained as part of the transaction.
