Anand T. Philip is vice president of Castle Harlan. Prior to joining Castle Harlan, Mr. Philip was an investment professional at the Blackstone Group, where he focused on private equity transactions across a wide range of industries for Blackstone Capital Partners III and IV, as well as Blackstone Communication Partners I. Previously, he worked at Wasserstein & Co., where he focused on principal investing for U.S. Equity Partners I and II. He began his career in the Merchant Banking Group of Wasserstein Perella. Mr. Philip is currently a board member of AmeriCast Technologies, Inc. He received a B.A. in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University, where he was a Trustee Scholar and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Mr. Philip holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
